Matias Vecino spoke with Inter TV following Inter’s 1-0 loss to Lazio at San Siro on Sunday night and is well aware that the result could have been different had Inter taken some of their many chances.

“Their goal put us in a bit of difficulty and things got better for them while we missed more than one chance to score a goal of our own,” he said.

“Lazio did well to leave little space after their goal. We could have won but from tomorrow we will be preparing for the next important game against Genoa.”

The Uruguayan concluded the interview by stressing his and his teammates desire to win again.

“Genoa has always been a difficult place to go and having lost, we must get back to winning ways. Obviously we are not happy after a defeat and we want to recover our energy because in two days we will play again.”
