Romelu Lukaku has admitted to being unsure whether his future lies with Manchester United past this season or not.
“I do not know, I am not here to entertain rumours. I am still under contract,” he admitted in an interview in wake of United’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea yesterday.
The Belgian striker has been linked with Inter recently as speculation about Mauro Icardi’s future at Inter persist with him seemingly set to leave the club come the end of this season.
This season 25-year-old Lukaku has netted 15 goals in 45 outings for the Red Devils, who he has played for since the Summer of 2017 and is under contract with through to the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
Reports in Italy have recently suggested that a swap deal between Inter and United involving Lukaku and Icardi could be in the offing but it is not the only swap to have been suggested in the media. Swap deals involving Icardi for Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Higuain and Lorenzo Insigne have all recently been mentioned too.
