Dalbert Could Leave Inter This Summer

With Diego Godin’s arrival and Danilo’s presumed arrival, Inter’s defence appears complete but the future of Dalbert is up in the air according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Given the competition for places and fact that Danilo’s arrival would push Dalbert further down the pecking order at the club, if an offer arrived wherein Inter would not make a loss on him, he will be sold. If no offer arrives, he will remain and will continue as Kwadwo Asamoah’s deputy.

Since his arrival from Nice in the Summer of 2017, the Brazilian full back has failed to live up to the hype that surrounded him.

The report from the Milan based newspaper then goes on to discuss their belief that Inter’s defence is complete.

Inter wish to build the defence around Milan Skriniar, who is just a signature away from extending his contract with the club. Stefan de Vrij and Diego Godin will also be centre back options and the three will rotate in the event of a four-man defence being preferred. Miranda will almost certainly depart the club meaning Andrea Ranocchia will be the fourth centre back.

If a three-man defence is favoured, it cannot be excluded that Inter will keep Alessandro Bastoni around rather than loaning him out again.

At full back Inter will have Asamoah and Danilo D’Ambrosio for definite and presumably Danilo, who will be the stating right back if he arrives.

In terms of goalkeepers, Inter will stick with Samir Handanovic, Daniele Padelli and Tomasso Berni. The Nerazzurri will activate their buy back option on Andrei Radu but he will be sold on or loaned out whilst Inter are also monitoring the progress of Gabriel Brazao.
