Inter Boss Spalletti Could Stick With Juventus Starting XI For Udinese Match

Luciano Spalletti is likely to stick with the same starting eleven that started last weekend’s Derby D’Italia draw against Juventus for this weekend’s clash with Udinese according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Long term injured Sime Vrsaljko aside, Spalletti otherwise has a fully fit squad to choose from the first time in a long time.

The former Roma manager is expected to show confidence in the side that dominated for large parts of the encounter with Juventus that Inter could have won heavily had they been more clinical with the chances they had.

The Milan based newspaper report that the only doubt Spalletti has is whether to stick or twist with Mauro Icardi up top.

Spalletti surprised many with his decision to deploy Icardi over Lautaro Martinez last weekend given that in recent weeks Lautaro had become the starting striker.

Inter predicted line-up (4-2-3-1): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Kwadwo Asamoah; Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic; Matteo Politano, Radja Nainggolan, Ivan Perisic; Mauro Icardi.
