Inter have taken to social media to congratulate Brescia after the Rondinelle secured automatic promotion to Serie A from Serie B with two games to spare.

“Welcome back. We are waiting for you at San Siro,” Inter quote-tweeted Brescia’s tweet confirming their promotion to Italy’s top flight after an eight-year absence.

Brescia will in all likelihood come up to Serie A as champions with them needing just a single point from the remaining six on offer to do so.
