Antonio Conte will officially be named the as the new manager of Inter today but his official presentation in front of the media will not happen for some time yet according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Conte is to succeed Luciano Spalletti, who was sacked earlier on today, on the Inter bench and as per various reports has agreed terms over a lucrative three year contract with the club.

The former manager of the Italian national team has already had a meeting with Inter’s management team to discuss the strategy for the upcoming Summer transfer window.

In the next few days, presumably next week, Conte will begin to work at Inter’s Angelo Moratti Sports Centre training ground.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that by the end of June Conte will also take a trip to China. He will take the trip to Nanjing to meet with Inter owner Jindong Zhang.
