Corriere dello Sport have hypothesised how incoming Inter manager Antonio Conte’s Inter side could look next season.
Conte intends to change Inter’s system from 4-2-3-1 to a 3-5-2 system, a system he has used throughout his career with great success at different clubs.
Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella is a player that Inter have courted for some time and the Italian starlet could come in and play a part in the Nerazzurri midfield.
On the right hand side of the field, Inter’s dream is Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa. The report goes on to state because of Conte’s arrival, Antonio Candreva could stay, due to their previous success when working together with Italy.
In the attack there is likely to be a lot of movement. Inter are already at work trying to sign Edin Dzeko from Roma and hope to have him signed up in time for him to be part of Inter’s pre-season retreat in Switzerland.
Dzeko aside, Inter also have their eyes on Romelu Lukaku. As per various reports, the Manchester United and Belgium striker is Conte’s number one target.
The report goes on to conclude that the rumoured Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala swap between Inter and Juventus could still take place but any possibility of it happening is on hold until the Bianconeri find a new manager.
