Inter would not turn down the opportunity to swap striker Mauro Icardi with Juventus forward Paulo Dybala this summer, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Nerazzurri are eager to sell their former captain amid reports Icardi is not in new head coach Antonio Conte’s plans for the coming season.

Reports of a potential swap deal with the Bianconeri involving the forward and Dybala began circling in March, following Inter’s decision to strip Icardi of the captaincy.

And it seems the rumours will persist throughout the summer, with transfer expert Di Marzio suggesting CEO Beppe Marotta would be happy to arrange such a deal.

The swap remains unlikely for the moment given the frosty relationship between Marotta and former Juventus colleague Fabio Paratici, as well as the differing valuations Inter and Juventus have for Icardi and Dybala.

However, it appears to be more than just an idea as the summer transfer window prepares to take flight.
