Antonio Conte left yesterday’s first meeting with Inter owner Jindong Zhang impressed with what he had to say about his plans for the club according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Prior to the Champions League final, the newly appointed boss met with Zhang in Madrid to discuss all things Inter.

Zhang firstly shared the visions that the Suning Group has and stressed the desire to see Inter back at the top of the footballing world again. Zhang shared his belief that with Conte now at the helm this would surely happen in the years to come.

Conte, who was helped through the meeting by a translator, was very impressed with these plans and also shared his satisfaction at being part of the Inter project.
