Newly appointed Inter manager Antonio Conte has clear ideas when it comes to the players he would like signed in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The former manager of the Italian national team wants at least five players brought in to help him make his mark on the Nerazzurri side.
Edin Dzeko seems almost certain to be one of them. Inter and Roma have a deal for him and he could be formally announced some point next week.
Conte would also like another striker and seemingly has his sights set on Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku. If a swap between Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala occurs the idea of signing Lukaku would be abandoned.
Conte, and Inter alike for that matter, also wants Federico Chiesa signed. Inter are long term admirers of the Fiorentina winger who will most certainly not come cheap.
For the midfield, there are two players he has in mind in the shape of Nicolo Barella and Lorenzo Pellegrini. Barella is valued at €50 million whilst Pellegrini has a €30 million release clause.
Finally there is Roma’s Aleksandar Kolarov. The Serbian full back wants to leave the capital city club and is good friends with both Dzeko and Inter winger Ivan Perisic.
