Former Nerazzurri coach José Mourinho believes that his former club can compete for a Champions League title in a couple of years time, he said whilst on air for broadcaster BeIn Sports covering the Champions League final.

The former Inter, Chelsea and Real Madrid manager was speaking about which clubs he thinks could win the coveted trophy next season when he was asked about his former club.

“Liverpool have reached two finals in a row, I think that with the good squad they have and their empathy they can reach the final for the third year in a row. Juventus, Bayern, PSG, Real Madrid, Ateltico and Liverpool can win the Champions next season.”

“Inter have a good squad, a good project and a lot of money to invest but I think that they need more time, maybe they need to wait a couple of years.”

In conclusion Mourinho declined to talk about his own future.
