Inter cannot sell Ivan Perisic for more than €40 million this summer amid interest from Premier League side Tottenham, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Antonio Conte wishes to begin the new season with ‘clear ideas’ and this means the Croatian forward is likely to leave the club after four seasons.
Perisic was on the brink of leaving during the January transfer window when he asked to be sold to Arsenal, but Inter refused to budge.
The club have yet to make a final decision on the 30-year-old but it seems probable they will put him on the transfer market, having signed him from Wolfsburg in 2015 for €20 million.
Tottenham are the only side linked with Perisic by paper, but it could be that more emerge soon as news of the player’s availability spreads.
Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio met with Perisic’s representatives last Wednesday to begin discussions over the best way forward for both parties.
