Reports Suggest Antonio Conte Has Asked Inter Not To Sell Perisic

Inter boss Antonio Conte has asked the club to keep hold of forward Ivan Perisic this summer, according to Alfredo Pedullà.

Corriere dello Sport today reported Perisic was more likely to be sold than not, with Tottenham interested in signing the Croatian.

However, Pedullà said Conte would like the chance to work with Perisic as his stamina could make him suited to his 3-5-2 system at wing-back.

The transfer expert predicts Inter will make ‘two or three more significant investments’ before the new season begins, with Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio hard at work as June continues.

The club will sign midfielder Nicolo Barella from Cagliari once they have sorted out the details of their agreement with the Rossoblu, while Roma striker Edin Dzeko will also arrive once the parties make a breakthrough in their negotiations.

Inter will also try to tie down striker Andrea Pinamonti, in the hope of avoiding a repeat of last year’s mistake with Nicolo Zaniolo.
