Antonio Conte will do his utmost to revive Radja Nainggolan and Ivan Perisic’s Inter careers if they stay at the club this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Both players are on the market and will be sold to make way for fresher talent if the right offers arrive, with Conte hoping to overhaul his squad before preseason training begins.
However, Nainggolan and Perisic are two players the Italian believes could nonetheless be useful to the cause and will not freeze them out if they stay put.
Inter met with Conte and his entire backroom staff yesterday for two hours of transfer talks in Milan, as the club look to tie up deals they are already chasing and begin pursuing new targets.
Everyone then enjoyed dinner together after what the paper described as a ‘frenetic’ meeting.
It was the first time Conte had taken all his staff to Inter’s offices in Milan, with new fitness coach Antonio Pintus also in attendance.
