Radja Nainggolan must promise Antonio Conte maximum dedication if he is to save his Inter career, according to former Juventus midfielder Giancarlo Marocchi.
The Belgian endured a difficult first season with the Nerazzurri amid injury problems and disciplinary issues, with reports suggesting Conte would not be against selling him this summer.
Conte’s zero-tolerance approach to ill-discipline has led many to assume the midfielder will leave the club, but Marocchi believes Nainggolan still has a chance of persuading the Italian to keep him.
“He needs to promise Conte he will dedicate every part of himself to Inter 24 hours per day,” Marocchi told Sky’s Calciomercato l’Originale program last night.
“You reach a stage in your career where you have to dedicate yourself entirely to your team, but if Nainggolan does that he’s a player that can make the difference.”
Nainggolan scored six goals and provided three assists as Inter secured a fourth-place finish in Serie A last season.
