Inter Midfielder Rivas Could Rejoin Brescia This Summer

Rigoberto Rivas could be set to rejoin Brescia this summer as the Rondinelle are interested in the Inter midfielder, according to Sky Sport.

The Honduran international already played there on loan during the 2017-18 season, making 15 appearances under Pasquale Marino and Roberto Boscaglia.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Serie C side Ternana but played just 12 games in all competitions, missing the first half of the campaign through injury.

Massimo Cellino is looking for reinforcements after Brescia were promoted to Serie A and Rivas could become one of them.

The midfielder made his senior international debut for Honduras last month, playing 75 minutes in a 1-1 friendly draw against Paraguay.

He scored eight goals for Inter’s Primavera side before graduating from the Nerazzurri’s youth system in 2017.

Inter began preseason training under Antonio Conte on Monday and will stay in Switzerland until the weekend.

Rivas is nowhere near the first team fold, however, and is waiting for the club to find him a new destination.
