Inter will make Manchester United a €70 million offer for Romelu Lukaku during tomorrow’s face-to-face talks in England, according to Sky Sport.
Piero Ausilio has flown over to deal with the Red Devils in person and hopes to make significant progress for Antonio Conte’s no. 1 transfer target.
The Nerazzurri will offer a €10 million loan with an obligation to buy for €60 million, which would be paid in two installments of €30 million.
Ed Woodward’s response will help Inter understand just how realistic a chance they stand of securing the Belgian striker.
Lukaku is in Australia for United’s preseason tour but is waiting for a move to Inter after agreeing personal terms last month.
Inter play Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in Singapore on 20 July and the 26-year-old hopes he will be playing for the Nerazzurri there.
Conte wanted Lukaku and Edin Dzeko to arrive before preseason began this week, but United and Roma have proved difficult to negotiate with.
