Arturo Vidal Dismisses Inter Links: “My Future Is With Barcelona”

Arturo Vidal ruled out a move to Inter today by telling reporters his future was with Barcelona.

The Nerazzurri have been heavily linked to the Chilean international lately, not least because they have appointed Vidal’s former head coach at Juventus in Antonio Conte.

Conte struck up a terrific relationship with Vidal in Turin but it seems certain the pair will not be reunited.

“I’m only thinking about my holidays at the moment but I have two years left on my contract with Barcelona,” the midfielder said at an event in Chile, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.

Vidal nearly joined Inter last summer but ultimately moved to Catalonia after Piero Ausilio decided to pursue a deal for Keita Balde instead.

The 32-year-old made 53 appearances for Ernesto Valverde’s side as they secured another La Liga title and reached the Champions League semi-finals, where they were humiliated by Liverpool in a 4-0 defeat at Anfield.
