Romelu Lukaku missed Manchester United’s training session in Australia earlier today as Inter prepare to meet the Red Devils for talks.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will play Perth in their first preseason friendly on Saturday but Lukaku was nowhere to be seen.

Reporters working for the Press Association and the Manchester Evening News said the Belgian was doing ‘alternative gym-based training’, having picked up a ‘little problem’.

Piero Ausilio is meeting United in London today and is expected to make a formal offer for the 26-year-old.
