Fiorentina ‘Strongly Interested’ In Signing Inter Midfielder Nainggolan

Fiorentina have expressed a ‘strong interest’ in signing Radja Nainggolan from Inter tonight, according to Sky Sport.

The Viola have made contact with Inter’s management and there is said to be a good chance the move comes to fruition.

Sky did not offer any further details, neither in terms of how much Fiorentina might offer nor what formula they would want.

Nainggolan’s departure would nevertheless be good news for the Nerazzurri, though, who could use the funds raised from his sale to pursue other transfer targets.

Antonio Conte seems to be showing no signs of reintegrating Nainggolan into his new-look side, despite the Ninja’s desire to earn a second chance.

Cagliari were the club most strongly linked to the 30-year-old during the weekend, but the Rossoblu would only be able to sign him on a cheap loan.

Inter are thought to be looking for a club who can pay €9 million for a loan, as that is the figure they need to cover his amortisation costs.

Selling Nainggolan on a permanent deal would require a much higher fee, though, assuming they wish to avoid making a net loss on the former Roma man.
