Javier Zanetti Inaugurates Inter’s New Uruguayan Academy In Montevideo

Javier Zanetti paid a visit to Montevideo on Monday to inaugurate Inter’s new Uruguayan academy.

Diego Godin became the nation’s latest player to sign for the Nerazzurri last month, joining on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid.

The centre-back will not be the only Uruguayan at San Siro this year, however, as his international teammate Matias Vecino now appears certain to stay.

Zanetti wrote on Instagram: “Inauguration of the Inter Academy Uruguay. Montevideo paints itself black-and-blue!”
