Romelu Lukaku will be a hit in Serie A regardless of whether he joins Inter or Juventus, according to Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti.

Antonio Conte has been pursuing the Belgian for more than two years, but he could be thwarted yet again this summer as the Bianconeri continue talks with Manchester United.

United appear interested in arranging a swap deal which involves Paulo Dybala, but time is running out to get the deal done.

Sconcerti told TMW Radio last night: “Juve’s interest for Lukaku is real, otherwise their approach to United would be in bad taste.

“If it’s real it means they’re looking to sell Paulo Dybala, but I think United are pushing more for this deal than Juventus.

“As far as Lukaku is concerned I trust Conte’s judgement. I think he’d be a decisive striker in Italy.”

Inter can do little to stop Juventus and United negotiating the Lukaku-Dybala swap, because they cannot make an improved offer until they sell Mauro Icardi.
