Antonio Conte got the chance to work with Lautaro Martinez and Kwadwo Asamoah for the first time this morning, as Inter resumed preseason training at Appiano Gentile.

Both players had their summer holidays delayed because of the Copa America and Africa Cup of Nations respectively, meaning they have only just turned up.

Lautaro and Asamoah met their teammates this morning but they were back at Appiano yesterday for a preliminary session, where they were joined by Mauro Icardi, Diego Godin, Matias Vecino, George Puscas and Federico Dimarco.

Matteo Politano and Valentino Lazaro were also present on Tuesday, but they trained apart as they continue recovering from their thigh injuries.

Inter will train at Appiano today, tomorrow and on Friday before flying to London on Saturday afternoon.

Conte’s side are due to face Tottenham at 16:00 CET on Sunday afternoon, in their penultimate preseason friendly before the new Serie A campaign starts.
