Dalbert appeared to admit he did not enjoy his time playing for Inter today, after the defender completed a season-long loan move to Fiorentina.
The Brazilian finally agreed to join the Viola after initially holding out for a return to Nice, where he made his breakthrough in European football three seasons ago.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram profile, Dalbert thanked Fiorentina for showing interest in him before making his candid confession about life in Milan.
“I’ll be able to get the consistent game time here which I had at Nice,” he wrote.
“My performances in Ligue 1 paved the way for me to join Inter and now in Florence I want to rediscover the joy of playing football. I think I’ll have more opportunities to do so.
“The city is fantastic and the club’s project was a decisive factor in my choice. After having played with great players like Mario Balotelli and Dante at Nice, now I can do the same with people such as Franck Ribery and Kevin-Prince Boateng.”
Dalbert joined Inter in a €21 million deal in 2017 but made just 26 appearances in all competitions in his first two seasons there.
