Mauro Icardi looks set to remain at Inter at least until the January transfer window with potential suitors pulling out according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
Atletico Madrid and Monaco have both dropped their recent interest in the Argentine striker, who has recently launched legal action against the club.
Paris St. Germain made contact with Inter but any move from them appears dependent on what happens with Neymar, who is subject to interest from former club Barcelona. As things stand, a move to PSG is most probable for Icardi.
Juventus are also believed to be interested but have not made a move for him as of yet. Unless they make a move for today, it can be presumed it won’t be happening in this window.
The fact that relations between the clubs are almost non-existent has not helped and the fact that Paulo Dybala refuses to leave the Bianconeri does not help either.
Inter have opened themselves up to even loaning the 26-year-old striker as they are that desperate to offload him. For a loan to happen though, Icardi will have to extend his contract by a year and they would not loan him to Juventus, which is believed to be his preferred destination.
