Inter’s Uruguayan international midfielder Matias Vecino, stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia to share his thoughts on the first 45 minutes in the Serie A clash between Cagliari and the Nerazzurri at the Sardegna Arena.

Vecino told Sky Sport Italia that he believes that the Nerazzurri need to maintain concentration and intensity whilst also improving their passing in the final third to wrap up all the three points.

“We know how they play and we have to continue paying attention. We have to maintain the high intensity and our high concentration.”

“We were lacking the final pass on two or three occasions, the final suggestion we need to implement in order to become more mean in the penalty area.”

Matias Vecino joined Inter in the summer of 2017 from Fiorentina for a reported fee of €24 million and has since making the move featured 71 times across all competitions scoring 8 goals in the process.
