Inter Defender Skriniar: “It Was A Tight Match, Draw Was A Fair Result”

Milan Skriniar believes that he and his Inter teammates’ performance was deserving of the draw they achieved in the opening match of their Champions League campaign at home to Slavia Prague.

“It was a tight match, Slavia showed a fighting spirit and played with a lot of heart. We knew they were playing physically demanding football. We were trying to score the winning goal until the end, but unfortunately it ended in a draw. The draw was a fair result,” he said in an interview with UEFA.com after the match at San Siro.
