Inter attacker Matteo Politano has stressed that everyone needs to be at their best if the Nerazzurri wish to succeed in this weekend’s first Milan derby of the season.

“It is not just me that needs to feel important, we must all feel important: we are all high level players, the important thing is that each of us gives 100%. If even just one player gives only 90%, the team will be struggling,” he remarked in an interview with DAZN.

Inter come into the game off the back of a disappointing performance in the Champions League on Tuesday night but looking solely at league form, Inter come into the match in the best way possible having won each of their three league games to date.

AC Milan meanwhile come into the game, which they will be hosting, having recovered from an opening day defeat by winning each of their next two games in the league.
