The refereeing appointments for the fourth round of action in the 2019/20 Serie A season have been confirmed with Daniele Doveri assigned to take charge of the first Derby della Madonnina of the season.

41-year-old Doveri will be refereeing his fifth game across all competitions this season and his second in Serie A after previously refereeing Torino’s 3-2 win away at Atalanta in the second round. In his four matches to date, he has dished out seven yellow cards and awarded one penalty.

Sergio Ranghetti and Alessandro Lo Cicero have been assigned to be Doveri’s assistants for the match whilst Fabio Maresca will be the fourth official.

Massimiliano Irrati will be in charge of the handling of VAR at San Siro and he will be assisted by Ciro Carbone.

This weekend’s derby will see seventh placed Milan play host to league leaders Inter. Kick off is scheduled for 8:45 local time on Saturday.
