Inter defender Milan Skriniar has insisted that he and his teammates cannot avoid any further slip-ups if they wish to progress in the Champions League.

“We have started well in Serie A, but this is another competition. With Slavia Praga we drew at home, now we can no longer make mistakes. We know that Barcelona is a strong team and tomorrow we will see how everything goes out on the field,” he began an interview with Inter’s in-house channel Inter TV.

The Slovakian then went on to celebrate Inter’s solid defensive record but knows that they can still get better and will be in for a tough ride against the Blaugrana attack.

“The few goals that we have conceded are thanks to the whole team, not only the defence, but there is always room for improvement. At the Camp Nou we will face a very strong attack, we will have to be careful for the entirety of the match.”
