Inter could make a move for Nemanja Matic in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Relations between Matic and Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have broken down, so much so that Matic is considering leaving the Old Trafford club come January.
Inter are keeping a close eye on the situation and both Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio and chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta can boast good relations with Matic’s representatives, who they have dealt with previously.
Antonio Conte is a big fan of the 31-year-old, who he won the Premier League with whilst in charge at Chelsea a few years ago and should Borja Valero depart Inter in the January transfer window, the Nerazzurri could add Matic to their ranks to bolster the midfield department.
Matic has made just five appearances across all competitions this season. In 340 minutes on the park, he has failed to score or tally an assist.
