According to a report from CalcioMercato.com, there is a number of reasons that Inter management do not want Arturo Vidal as much as Inter manager Antonio Conte does.
The 32-year-old’s age is something off-putting for the Inter leadership, who would rather focus upon young players with a big upside like Lautaro Martinez and Nicolo Barella.
Another reason Inter are not so keen on signing the Chilean is because his current employers Barcelona’s demands are currently too much for what Inter would ultimately be willing to pay for him. As per the report, the Blaugrana want €40 million for him.
Conte really wants Vidal added to his side’s ranks due to knowing him extremely well from their time together at Juventus. He knows exactly what he would be getting from the former Bayern Munich central midfielder, who would not take long to adapt due to the fact he already knows Conte’s methods very well.
