With thanks to his exploits in the Copa Libertadores final, Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa has increased his transfer value by €5 million according to a report from Transfermarkt.it.

Prior to his double, which won loan club Flamengo their second Copa Libertadores title, he had a value of €18 million but is now instead valued at €23 million.

The 23-year-old striker has been in red-hot form since joining the Rio de Janeiro based club on loan back in January having scored 40 goals in 54 appearances across all competitions.
