Romelu Lukaku did not celebrate after his first goal, that was quickly disallowed, due to being subjected to racial abuse from a portion of Slavia Prague supporters according to a report from Spanish news outlet Marca.
The Belgian striker slotted home into an empty net after being teed up by strike partner Lautaro Martinez but rather than running off to celebrate what looked to be his first Champions League goal for the Nerazzurri, he raised a pointed finger to his ear so to highlight what had been happening to him.
His actions were however missed by the match officials who were too busy running over to consult VAR. Upon consulting VAR, play was pulled back, the goal was disallowed and Slavia were awarded a penalty, which they duly converted.
Lukaku did manage to get himself a goal in the end though as he gave Inter a 2-1 lead near the end of the match. Having already assisted the first goal, he then set up the third goal too. He would score in the final seconds but the goal was chopped off due to him being offside.
