In an interview with FCInter1908.it, Alejandro Camano, the agent of Inter midfielder Borja Valero, has shared his delight following his client’s first start of the season.

“I am happy for Borja and he is very happy with the compliments he has received. He had been waiting for this moment for a few weeks and he was ready for it,” he said.

“At the beginning of the season he decided not to leave and to make himself available to Conte. He has worked a lot and has done so in the best way, in silence, without kicking up a fuss when he was not playing. He waited for his opportunity to show off.

“Conte has built a great Inter and in teams of this calibre it is normal for the competition for places to be very high, so we have to adapt to this.

“He really cares about Inter, his family feels good in Milan and he likes the Nerazzurri fans. He is happy to be able to help the team fight to achieve important things.”

He then shared his views on whether he thinks Inter can progress in the Champions League and whether they can win the Serie A title.

“The Nerazzurri, like Borussia Dortmund, are in a complicated situation. Everything will be decided on the last day, but they certainly have the strength to beat Barcelona at the Meazza. It won’t be easy, but they can do it.

“I have become passionate about Inter over the years due to also being Hector Cuper’s agent. I would be very happy if they could get past Juventus and win the title.
