Inter Manager Conte: “Lukaku & Lautaro Played Very Well, I’m Very Happy For Them”

In a brief interview with UEFA, Inter manager Antonio Conte expressed his delight for his strike force of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, who proved pivotal in the 3-1 win over Slavia Prague.

The Belgian put in arguably his best performance in an Inter shirt to date as he set up his strike partner twice and grabbed himself a goal of his own, which was in fact his 250th career goal.

“I do not like to talk about players individually, I much prefer to talk about the whole team but certainly our two strikers, Romelu and Lautaro, played very well,” he remarked.

“I am very happy for them because it is important for the attackers to score and above all if these goals give us the opportunity to move on to the next round.”
