Romelu Lukaku has called for European football’s governing body UEFA to take action against racism after he was once again subjected to racist abuse as Inter ran out 3-1 winners away to Slavia Prague.
“I said it last time when I was with the national team [and I will say it again], UEFA has to do something about it, because things like this in stadiums is not right,” he told Brazilian broadcaster Esporte Interativo.
“Tonight [last night] It happened twice with me and that is not right. We are in 2019, there are many players with many different nationalities in their teams.”
The 26-year-old, who was racially abused earlier on this season, concluded: “When there are bad people at the stadium, that’s not a good example for the kids. I hope that UEFA now do something about it, because the whole stadium did it when Lautaro scored the first goal, and that’s not good for the people watching this game.”
