Inter Wing Back Candreva: “We Deserved The Victory But We Had To Suffer During The Game”

Antonio Candreva has shared his delight following Inter’s 3-1 victory away to Slavia Prague in the Champions League.

“We played a great match and will take these three points away with us from a place where many teams have struggled. We showed a lot of character in the first half and in the second half I think we showed that we deserved the victory,” he explained in an interview with Inter’s in-house channel Inter TV.

“We had to suffer during the game and we knew that would be the case. We done well to stay in the game after it went 1-1 as we could have got hurt during that time off the game. We are all happy and are hyped up. Starting from tomorrow we will think about the league and then about Barcelona.”
