Inter Wing Back Candreva: “We Played A Great Game, We’re All Happy”

Antonio Candreva has shared his joy after Inter ran out 3-1 winners in a tricky match away to Slavia Prague in the Champions League.

“We played a great game, especially in the second half. It is not easy for any team to win here and we knew that we would have to suffer,” he remarked in an interview with tournament organisers UEFA.

“We did well to stay in the game after they drew level. It could have been a real blow but in the second half we showed that we deserved the win. We are all happy and will start to think about the match with Barcelona in a few days time.”
