Alexis Sanchez could make a return to action before Christmas, at least according to a report in today’s print edition of Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

In the coming days, the Chilean attacker, who has been sidelined due to an ankle injury, is due to meet with Ramon Cugat, the doctor who conducted the surgery on his ankle, in the coming days and things will become clearer after this meeting.

Sanchez will be like a new signing for Inter manager Antonio Conte upon his return whether that be before Christmas or even after due to the fact he barely got a chance to show what he could do upon his arrival on a season long loan from Manchester United.

The 30-year-old has made just four appearances across all competitions this season for a total of 129 minutes on the field, in which he has scored a single goal and provided one assist.
