Romelu Lukaku’s assist for Inter’s third goal in the win over Slavia Prague has been recognised by tournament organisers UEFA as the skill of the day for Wednesday night’s Champions League action.
The Belgian international crossed the ball into strike partner Lautaro Martinez to volley home at the Sinobo Stadium with the outside of his foot to put Inter 3-1 up.
This was the icing on the top of the cake for what was arguably Lukaku’s best performance to date for Inter which also saw him score his first Champions League goal for the club.
