Inter Captain Handanovic: “Thank You All For Last Night’s Przie & The Many Messages”

Samir Handanovic has taken to social media platform Instagram to celebrate his inclusion in the Serie A 2018/19 team of the season.

The Slovenian’s performances last season were recognised at Monday night’s Serie A awards ceremony. In 38 league games last season, he kept a league high 17 clean sheets and let in less than a goal per game on average across the season. This season he has made 19 appearances across all competitions and managed to keep six clean sheets.

“Thank you all for last night’s prize and for the many messages received. I especially want to thank my trainer Adriano Bonaiuti and my wife who supports me,” he posted.
