Inter’s Champions League clash with Barcelona tomorrow will allow the clubs to meet with one another to hold further talks over potential transfers between them according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Inter have drawn strong links to Arturo Vidal in recent weeks and months as they look to strengthen their midfield department whilst it is understood that Barcelona are keen on Inter’s Lautaro Martinez due to his performances this season.
Barcelona, as per the report, will not push Vidal toward the exit door but that will not stop them from listening to what Inter have to offer as the Nerazzurri management look to satisfy manager Antonio Conte.
When it comes to Lautaro Martinez, the Catalan club are looking at the 22-year-old as a potential replacement for veteran striker Luis Suarez.
The Argentine international has a €111 million release clause in his contract and Inter are wary of the fact that the more he performs the more of a bargain that is going to look and it is for this reason that they are to try and sign the striker to a new contract.
