Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to give thanks after he picked up two awards at ESPN’s Bola de Prata awards ceremony for his performances whilst out on loan at Flamengo from Inter.

The striker has been in simply sublime form for the Rio de Janeiro club having scored 43 goals in 57 appearances across all competitions which have helped Flamengo to win the Brazilian Serie A title and Copa Libertadores this season.

“Thank you Lord, thank you family and everyone from Flamengo,” he posted.
