Italian Report Claims Inter & Flamengo Have No Agreement Over Gabigol

According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter and Flamengo do not have an agreement in place over the permanent transfer of Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa, at least as far as Inter see things.

Flamengo president Rodolfo Landim recently gave an interview in which he said there was an agreement between the two clubs but the Milanese news outlet’s report suggests otherwise.

Gabigol has been out on loan with the Rio de Janeiro club since January of this year and has been in stellar form having netted 43 goals in 57 appearances across all competitions.

Whilst Flamengo have made no secret of their desire to keep a hold of the 23-year-old but it remains to be seen what the former Santos man wants.

In almost every interview he has done as of late he has been quizzed on his future with the Mengao but he has said he does not wish to talk about his future until the end of the season.
