Zlatan Ibrahimovic has decided to join AC Milan upon the expiry of his contract with LA Galaxy according to a report in today’s print edition of Milanese newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 38-year-old Swede had drawn links with Inter but now looks set to return to the Rossoneri although work still needs to be done in terms of personal terms.
AC Milan believe they have presented Ibrahimovic a decent enough offer but the player himself is not satisfied by it according to the report.
Milan have offered him a six month contract with a salary of €2 million with the possibility of another season in which his salary would be €4 million. The extension would entirely depend on how the former Barcelona forward performs between now and the end of the season if he is to join.
This past season, Ibrahimovic made 31 appearances across all competitions. In 2790 minutes on the park, he managed to score 31 goals and tally eight assists.
