Roma have sparked an interest in signing Genoa striker Andrea Pinamonti in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
Giallorossi sporting director Gianluca Petrachi would like to bring in a new strike partner for talisman Edin Dzeko and has identified 20-year-old Pinamonti as a player who could do that job.
If Roma are to make a move, it remains to be seen what Genoa will do given the fact there is a gentlemen’s agreement in place with Inter for the Italian youth international.
Pinamonti joined the Rossoblu club in a loan with obligation to buy deal from Inter this past Summer due to Inter needing to raise funds for financial fair play purposes and he has become a first team regular with the Stadio Luigi Ferraris side.
This season he has made 15 appearances across all competitions. In which he has scored four goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
