Inter Open To Loaning Federico Dimarco As Bologna Spark An Interest In Him

Bologna have sparked an interest in signing Inter defender Federico Dimarco in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The young full back has struggled to force his way into Inter manager Antonio Conte’s plans this season and has been limited to just one substitute appearance all season for a total of seven minutes on the field.

Inter, as per the report, would be willing to loan the 22-year-old, who has a contract with the club until the end of the 2022/23 season, to enable him to get more regular game time and continue his development as a player. They would also be open to including an option to buy in any loan move that may be forthcoming.

The report from the Roman based newspaper does go on to state that as much as Bologna manager and former Inter midfielder Sinisa Mihajlovic likes him, he does have some concerns regarding Dimarco’s attacking play style.
