Inter forward Matteo Politano has posted a photo on his Instagram page showing the Nerazzurri squad celebrating after their first training session after the Christmas break.

The 26-year-old Italian forward, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, has struggled to earn consistent playing time under coach Antonio Conte so far this season, due to his slow adaption to the Italian coach’s tactical system. He is rumoured to be departing in January.

Politano posted the photo alongside the caption: “Back on the pitch, winning straight away!”
