Italian Report Claims Inter Could Do Swap Deal With Parma Involving Dimarco & Darmian

Matteo Darmian could arrive at Inter in the upcoming January transfer window through a swap deal according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Inter have identified the 30-year-old Italian defender as a player who could strengthen the full back department at the club with Kwadwo Asamoah continuing to have problems with the cartilage in one of his knees.

The Nerazzurri could land the former Manchester United man from Parma by offering young defender Federico Dimarco in a swap deal.

Dimarco has been limited to just two substitute appearances this season and is seemingly looking for a move to a club where he can be guaranteed more regular playing time.

The report goes on to add that when it comes to adding reinforcements in the attack, it all depends on Matteo Politano.

Politano has drawn links to several clubs and if he is to depart, it would open a space up for another attacker to come into Antonio Conte’s team.

Olivier Giroud is a player Inter have been linked with but Conte may ultimately settle for what he has got, especially given Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of making a return.
